Artistic Journey in comics
Throughout his active work in the comic art industry, he collaborated with publishers in five different countries. After his work in Croatia, he introduced himself to the German market and, after that to the American market where he drew action heroes Ghost and Mask for the publishing house Dark Horse. In 2006 he started to work with French publisher Glenat, which was his dream from the beginning, to be able to work in the French comic book market and this is also where he finished his career as a comic artist. Of course, we cannot forget about the work Malvazija in Brancin which was made in collaboration with another Slovenian artist Iztok Sitar. The work is originally in Slovenian language, so it represents a contribution to the culture of the country in which Bernard has resided from the year 1988.

Artistic Journey in oil painting
After his career in comics, Bernard started to dedicate his time to oil paintings, which he has been producing since 2022. Even in comics, his work has been known to be very detailed, which is also one of the reasons why he instantly fell in love with oil painting and the ability to present his imagination on the canvas until the last small shadow on the leaf.
