Bernard had spent years sketching bold lines and inking dramatic panels, his life consumed by the rhythm of comic books. But after all these years of drawing comics, he needed something else to transmit his imagination. One evening, wandering through a quiet art gallery in Ljubljana, he was mesmerized by the richness of oil paintings, their depth, their texture, and the way colors seemed to breathe. He bought a canvas, dipped his brush in oil, and let instinct take over. His spark has been newly ignited. The same energy from the young boy drawing comics for fun came out, but now in a more colorful way. Bernard had found his new passion, a world beyond ink, one of endless color.
